CENTER POINT – An east Birmingham girl celebrated quite the birthday on Saturday, April 18, 2020, as the Center Point Fire District brought out all the toys to wish little Zoey an amazing birthday.
The fire district joined the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, friends and family in a caravan of law enforcement vehicles, a fire truck and an ambulance in an effort to provide Zoey with a birthday moment sure to last a lifetime.
“Honored to participate in a ‘social distancing’ birthday party for Zoey today,” the Center Point Fire District posted on Facebook.
The caravan, led by a fire truck with its sirens sounding, drove through Zoey’s neighborhood and past her house, which was decorated with inflatable unicorns and balloons.
Zoey could be heard giggling in the background as the caravan approached.
“Thank you,” she said as the cars drove by, the occupants waving and honking their horns.
