TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department arrested a man in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 19, after receiving a call about suspicious activity at the former location of the Parish Seafood & Oyster House, off Gadsden Highway.
Detective Ben Short said a passerby called and reported the incident at 4:30 a.m. Police responded and said they caught the suspect in the act. The man was taken into custody.
The owner of the property did not wish to prosecute so the man will be released from the Trussville City Jail and his name will not be released.
Parish Seafood & Oyster House closed after six years in Trussville. Owner Matt Norman said he is looking at other options.
