UPDATE: The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Monday identified the victim as Kenneth Eugene Brown, 60, of Fairfield.
FAIRFIELD — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office is working to identify a man found dead after a house fire in Fairfield.
The fire happened in the 1000 block of Grand Oaks Road. The man was pronounced dead on the scene around 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.
