Tickets are now available for purchase for this Friday night, as the opening round of the state football playoffs begin.
With five local squads in line to compete in first-round games, fans must order tickets online this season due to COVID-19 precautions. Onsite tickets likely will not be available for purchase on the night of the game.
“Having a partnership with GoFan has enabled the AHSAA to provide its membership a ticketing platform that allows our member schools to serve their communities efficiently and effectively, said Steve Savarese, AHSAA Executive Director. “Moreover, the GoFan platform is part of an ecosystem that makes attending any school activity a simple, seamless process. GoFan’s digital ticketing program became a critical resource during the COVID pandemic, as it became absolutely essential in assisting our member school employees with a safe ticketing process. Furthermore, having used multiple digital ticketing platforms, GoFan customer service is second to none and what designates GoFan as our ticketing provider of choice.”
With limited capacity in mind, a select number of tickets are distributed to each team in advance of the game. Priority ticket purchasing is available first to parents and family members through a VIP link provided to the participating schools before being open to the public for purchasing on the AHSAA homepage and participating school GoFan pages at 6:00 pm Thursday evening.
