TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville fishing team is making its mark on the FLW Trail.
Following last week’s action on Lake Martin, the team has qualified three boats for nationals. For Carson Underwood and Andrew Jones, this will be their second run at the talented field of anglers. The duo has finished as the 2021 points leader.
Coming in at eighth in points and qualifying for their first nationals appearance is Benjamin Graves and Landon Shotts. In June, both Trussville boats will compete in a five-day tournament at Lake Hartwell in South Carolina.
Trussville has also qualified the junior team of Michael Maynor and Andrew Graves for nationals. The Maynor-Graves boat finished second in points in this year’s junior division and will advance to nationals, which will take place at a lake that has not yet been announced.
