CARBON HILL — Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Monday, April 19, 2021.
Clifford Garrison, 40, of Nauvoo, was killed when he fell asleep while driving on Interstate 22, three miles east of Carbon Hill, according to ALEA.
The 2004 Chevrolet Classic Garrison was driving struck the rear of a 2015 Peterbilt. Garrison was taken to the hospital where he died the next day.
No information is available on the driver of the Peterbilt truck.
