HOMEWOOD — The Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation’s 2021 Motherwalk 5k and Fun Run will be Saturday, May 8, 2021.
Motherwalk is a celebration of our survivors and a way to honor the memory of the many women we have lost to ovarian cancer. Friends and families come together dressed in teal in honor and in memory of these courageous women for a fun walk/run and community event.
The event will be limited to 500 participants and COVID-19 precautions will be put in place. In-person runners will be chip-timed and will run in waves.
You can register online or at the event. Pricing is as follows:
Chipped Time 5K – In-Person – $35
Run or Walk-1 Mile Fun Run In-Person – $35
Support the Cause- Virtual Run 5K or 1 Mile -$35
Ovarian Cancer Survivor – No Charge- In-Person 5K Ovarian Cancer Survivor – In-Person 1 Mile Fun Run Ovarian Cancer Survivor – Virtual 5K or 1 Mile.
The races will be held at the Homewood Central Park, located at 1632 Oxmoor Road.

7:45 am: 5K Registration & Packet Pickup Closes
7:45 am: Race Announcements
8:00 am: 5K Starts
8:45 am: Fun Run Registration Closes
9:00 am: 1 Mile Fun Run Starts
9:20 am: Recognize Survivors
9:30 am: Awards
If you fundraise at least $250, we will refund $25 of your race entry fee.
First Place Overall All 5K winners receive the following:

The Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation is a 501-(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in January of 2004 by Lori Livingston who lost her mother, Norma Livingston, after a short battle with ovarian cancer. The Mission of the NLOCF is to raise funds for ovarian cancer research and to increase awareness about the risks, symptoms and treatments of this disease.
