HANCEVILLE — A few local students have been awarded 2021-22 scholarships at Wallace State Community College.
“The college is proud to provide scholarships totaling over $2.5 million to more than 550 students based on academic achievement as well as performing arts and athletic abilities,” read a press release from WSCC on Tuesday.
Local scholarship recipients include:
- Lance Clevenger of Pinson recieved the Leadership Scholarship.
- Kylie Everett of Pinson recieved the Academic Excellence Scholarship.
- Lauren Hallmark of Pinson recieved the Leadership Scholarship.
- Robert Bates of Pinson recieved the Performing Arts Scholarship.
Wallace State Community College is located in Hanceville. A member of the Alabama Community College System, Wallace State offers hundreds of degree and certificate options in Academic, Applied Technology, Health Science and STEM programs, as well as credits guaranteed to transfer to Alabama’s universities and beyond.
