JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Coroner, William Yates, is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the family of the following individuals.
Charlotte D. Brown, 67, of Pleasant Grove, died on December 22, 2021, at 3:13 p.m. Brown died of natural causes while a tenant at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation of Pleasant Grove and a patient of Southern Care Hospice. All attempts to locate his family have failed. It is believed that her descendants previously lived on 6th Court in the Wylam community in 2018.
Authorities are seeking to reunite these deceased persons with their families, who may not even know that they have passed away.
Michael Eugene Piper, 68, of Birmingham, died on December 25, 2021, at 5:02 a.m. Piper died while a tenant at Eastview Health Center and a patient of Affinity Hospice.
Yates said Piper died of natural causes. All attempts to locate family have failed so far. Piper’s family previously lived on Martinwood Lane in the Huffman community in 2011 and possibly has family living in Alabaster, Alabama.
Jimmie W. McDonald, 87, of Pleasant Grove, while a tenant at Legacy Health and Rehabilitation of Pleasant Grove and a patient of Comfort Care Hospice, on January 8 at 9:58 p.m. She is said to have died of natural causes.
All attempts to locate his family have failed. Authorities believe that McDonald’s family previously lived on 9th Street in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, in 2016.
