TRUSSVILLE — Trussville Social announced they will be opening a new restaurant that will be fun for the whole family.
Jeremy and Misty Reeves are no strangers to the restaurant business. After moving to Trussville in September 2021, they saw a way to give back to the community of Trussville.
Trussville Social is an entertainment-style restaurant that will be in the Trussville Entertainment District at 114 South Chalkville Road. The restaurant will have live music five days a week, pinball machines, shuffleboard, skee ball, and a turf area on the patio with cornhole and the giant size beer pong.
The new restaurant will be combining two buildings in the Entertainment District. One side will be where all the restrooms and kitchen and offices will be, and the main big building “will be one big, wide-open entertainment venue with a bar in the middle of it.”
Jeremy said they hope to have the restaurant open by the beginning of June 2022.
“A family-friendly atmosphere, that’s fun for all ages,” Jeremy said. “It’s gonna have a lot of entertainment as far as games, but it’s not necessarily just for kids. It’ll be a cool date night spot, and a group of friends to go together and have a social experience and meet new friends.”
Jeremy said one of their old slogans is “Where old friends gather and new ones meet.”
“It’s almost kind of the same thing we’re gonna do here is just get social,” Jeremy said. “The COVID bug is hopefully a thing of the past. So let’s, let’s reunite everybody and come have some social time and have an entertaining dining experience, not just going somewhere sitting down and eating and watching some sports on TV. Let’s go and eat and then stick around and listen to good music and play games.”
