BESSEMER — An inmate at William Donaldson Correctional Facility serving a life sentence for sodomy from a 1996 conviction out of Autauga County died on Thursday, July 7, at approximately 6:28 a.m.
“No signs of trauma or foul play found at this time,” Chief Deputy Coroner William Yates said.
The inmate has been identified, but the family has not yet been located and notified of the death.
The circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated by the Alabama Department of Correction – Law Enforcement Services Division.
