BIRMINGHAM — A 28-year-old man was killed in a crash on Interstate 20/59 Southbound on Sunday, July 24, at approximately 2:20 p.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Jacob Oliver Green, of Adger, was the driver and lone occupant of a white Mazda 3 traveling south on I-20/59 at mile marker 122.
“For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway and overturned multiple times, ejecting the decedent from the vehicle,” Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the wreck.
