Leslie Bell, 93, was born on August 13, 1929, and passed away on September 6, 2022.
Leslie was born in Birmingham, Alabama, to Joseph Leroy Bell and Pansy Stewart Bell. He is preceded by his parents, his sister, Francis Bell, and his brother, Dr. Stewart Bell.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Lolita Bell, and stepson, John Elvis Panganiban, and cousins, Faye (Ralph) Dewey of Wetumpka, Jerry Burns of Pell City, Dean (Lou) Wiggins of Griffin, GA, Jean Hansford of Knoxville, AL, Danny (Mary) Richardson, Joanne Romanek, of Cottondale, AL and Sherry Sutehall, of Fosters, AL.
Leslie loved the game of tennis and cycling. He loved to show off Birmingham to all his out-of-town guests. He always loved to ride horses when he came to visit cousins in Greene County.
Leslie was a member of Ruhama Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force with six years of service. He retired from Jefferson County Sewer System in Leeds, Alabama.
