CLAY — Paul’s Hot Dogs and Grill will celebrate serving the community for 30 years by rolling back the price of a hot dog to 99-cents on Monday, Jan. 23.
The iconic local restaurant originally opened in Trussville but moved to Clay a few years ago.
“We are selling for 99-cents in honor of Paul (Martin LaRussa) since that’s how much they were when he opened up 30 years ago,” Abby LaRussa, wife of owner Luke LaRussa, said.
Luke LaRussa, the grandson of founder Martin LaRussa, took over operations of the restaurant when his grandfather passed away.
Paul’s Hot Dogs and Grill is located next to Publix in Clay.
