TRUSSVILLE – Trussville City Schools has announced and offered congratulations to several HTHS students who were finalists and winners of the 2023 Junior Achievement Business Plan Challenge.
“Preliminary round included 80 business plan submissions from Hewitt-Trussville High School, Hoover High School, and Spain Park High School,” TCS stated. “On Friday, April 28th, 13 total businesses advanced to the final shark tank style event where they shared their commercial and pitched to a panel of four investors for the opportunity to receive scholarship money.”
Hewitt-Trussville High School Business Plan Challenge winners will receive the following scholarship awards:
Honorable Mentions $100
- Aran Cane, Clayton Healy – EZ Grips
- Ethan Bickerstaff – Car’d Key
6th Place $500
- Reece Rutland, Kylee Sisk – Little Fits
5th Place $750
- Tyler Maronge, Shaylan Patel – Shake ‘N Wake
“Thank you to our Junior Achievement Volunteer, Ian Maddox with Hitchcock Maddox Financial Partners, who joined us in the classroom throughout the year to help prepare students for this competition,” TCS stated.
