TRUSSVILLE – Trussville City Schools has announce that, once again, there will be a “staggered start” for the opening of the 2023 school year. Students will return to school alphabetically by last name in the following order:

August 9: Students with the last name beginning with letters A-J
August 10: Students with the last name beginning with letters K-Z
On Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, all students will attend school.
For Parents of Hewitt-Trussville High School Students ONLY
Remote Learning Days for Testing
+October 3 PSAT for all 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who sign up for the test; Remote Learning Day for all students not testing.
+October 24 Pre-ACT 10th grade, WorkKeys for 12th grade students needing this assessment; Remote Learning Day for 9th, 11th , remaining 12th grade students.
+March 12 ACT 11th grade; Remote Learning Day for 9th, 10th, and 12th grades.
