BIRMINGHAM – Investigators with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office obtained warranta against a 22-year-old deputy for using his position for personal gain.
Caleb Jefferson, 22, is being charged with using his position for personal gain, the exact details of which have yet to be disclosed. He is currently on administrative leave.
This case remains under investigation.
Jefferson turned himself in to the Jefferson County Jail in Bessemer, where he later posted bond and was released.
