HOUSTON COUNTY — A 93-year-old south Alabama man was killed in a two-vehicle crash that sent three more people to the hospital with injuries. The collision occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, according to Sergeant Jeremy J. Burkett of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Marler was transported to Southeast Health in Dothan, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver and another passenger of the 4-Runner, a Dothan couple in their 60s, were both injured and transported to Southeast Health for medical treatment. The male driver of the GMC C1500 was also injured and transported to Southeast Health, Burkett said.
The crash occurred on Alabama 53 near the 15 mile marker, approximately one mile south of Dothan, in Houston County.
No further information is available as Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
