BIRMINGHAM – With the Humpday Invite win at the CrossPlex last week, the Hewitt boys track and field team claimed a four-peat and retained the prestigious Camel trophy.
The Hewitt girls finished second.
“The team is preparing for state competition,” said Hewitt head coach Jamey Curlee.
“The guys and girls are second in the state rankings.”
“The guys did a great job to get the four-peat and the girls came a close second.”
“We are putting the pieces together as we approach the Indoor State meet on February 3,” he said. “Both team have a great chance to finish first or second.”

The Huskies will compete at the The MLK JR. INDOOR TRACK CLASSIC on January 22.
