MOUNTAIN BROOK — An injured, naked man found in a Mountain Brook roadway was transported to the hospital on Monday while police investigate the origin of his injuries, police said.
On Monday, February 5, 2024 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Mountain Brook Police officers were dispatched to reports of a naked male running in traffic on Euclid Avenue, police said in a statement released Tuesday.
Initial reports indicated that the male had potentially been struck by a vehicle. Officers and Mountain Brook Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and located the male in the roadway.
MBFD transported a 38-year-old Mountain Brook man to UAB Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Mountain Brook police are working to determine the cause of the injuries. This is an ongoing investigation.
