TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville City School system is closing immediately, according to Superintendent Dr. Pattie Neill.
All school-related activities are also canceled tentatively through Friday, April 3.
The TCS Board of Education will meet on Monday, March 15.
Dr. Neill said school administrators will make plans for those on free and reduced lunches on Monday, March 15. All 12-month employees are asked to report to their school or department Monday to prepare for the closure.
The system will use its mass communication system, the TCS website and In the Loop to keep parents and students informed.
