WEDOWEE, Ala. — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is searching for an inmate who escaped on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020.
Victor Emmanuel Gurley was in jail on charges of assault first-degree, burglary first-degree, resisting arrest, theft of property first-degree, destruction of state property, failure to appear on a child support charge and failure to appear on an escape third-degree charge. He was booked into the Randolph County Jail, in Wedowee, on April 21, 2020.
Gurley is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs around 147 pounds.
After Gurley escaped, the sheriff’s office posted a be on the lookout alert on its Facebook page. They are asking anyone with information to call 911.
