BESSEMER — Police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of 15-year-old Pharrell Devion Jackson early Saturday morning.
Jackson was one of five individuals occupying a white Crown Victoria when it was fired upon Saturday. According to a report from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, three other victim’s were also struck by the gunfire, including a 19-year-old female, a 22-year-old male and another male, who has not yet been positively identified.
All remain hospitalized with gunshot wounds. An additional 19-year-old female occupant sustained minor injuries during the shooting.
According to reports, the victims had been at the Crowne Club in Ensley prior to the shooting. Police believe the group was involved with a verbal altercation at the Club. It is unclear if the altercation resulted in the shooting.
