TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Police Department arrested a suspect during a burglary in progress on Monday, January 31, at approximately 3:56 a.m.
According to the Trussville Police Department, an officer was parked at 1808 Gadsden Highway monitoring the area due to several unlawful breaking and entering of vehicles and thefts the week before.
The officer observed a vehicle pull into the parking directly in front of Bliss Natural Nails located at 1808 Gadsden Highway Suite 116. The suspect stepped out of the vehicle, approached Bliss Natural Nails, and looked into the store windows.
The suspect then threw an object at the window shattering the window and stepped into the store. The officer then pulled behind the suspect’s vehicle and approached the building.
The suspect, Antwon Kadarrius Moore, was apprehended and transported to the Trussville Jail. He is being charged with Burglary third degree, and the bond is set at $5,000. The warrant was obtained through Jefferson County D.A. office on Tuesday, February 1.
