TRUSSVILLE – Peachtree Assisted Living in Trussville has announced new ownership of its 25 bed assisted living facility.
Trussville Senior Housing Investors, LLC has purchased the property, which is located at 3740 Eagle Drive. The company plans to expand the facility, adding 30 new independent residences for seniors.
The ownership group is lead by Birmingham-based LIV Development LLC, and indents to upgrade the exiting facility and develop an additional independent living community to meet the needs of Trussville seniors. The company will break ground sometime before the end of August, adding fine dining, fitness facilities, a theater room and a more extensive activity program.
“We are proud of our investment in senior housing in the greater Birmingham area, where it is close to us, and look forward to becoming an integral contributor to the Trussville community,” Graham Black at LIV said.
Trussville Senior Housing Investors LLC has contracted with Traditions Senior Living, LLC of Franklin, Tenn. to provide management and oversight operations. Traditions manages properties in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee.
“Our organizational culture fits very well with the LIV culture, which we have no doubt will result in providing a higher quality of life for residents of Peachtree,” Wes Bartlett, CEO of Traditions Senior Living, said. “We respect the staff currently on site as they are dedicated and selfless. We are honored to be involved at Peachtree and look forward to its growth.”

Is this where the other assisted living place was that closed?

I think this may be on Hawkridge Rd as you are heading towards the Hawkridge and Hidden Trace neighborhoods? If I’m correct it’s where there used to be a 3 way stop but they took the stop signs off Hawkridge awhile back

I googled the address & it looks awful close to the old one but I wasn’t sure. Seems like they would buy the old one & just expand it.

It is on Hawkridge. When you turn right from the post office it’s half way up that hill on the right. There used to be a stop sign at the turn but they took it up a while back. I heard they were pretty good. Wished they could buy the other one instead of building more though.

The one that was shut down is reopening under NEW ownership. It is a nursing home. Peach Tree is assisted living. My mother in law is there. We knew they had changed ownership but this is the first we have heard about expansion.
