From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE –Another unexplained boom resonated across the metro Birmingham area on Sunday morning. It’s the second such occurrance in the last two weeks.
Reports from Mountain Brook, downtown Birmingham, Homewood and Bessemer appeared on social media shortly after 7:30 a.m.
Meteorologists James Spann and the Jefferson County Emergency Management Agency both sent out tweets saying that they didn’t know the cause of the boom.
Another “Bama Boom” around 7:30a CT; this one in the Birmingham metro https://t.co/tgNZ9iRon5

We received a report at approximately 7:28 of a double boom (could have been an echo). No information on the cause at this time.

There are reports of the same booms all over USA and all over the globe without explanation. No one is saying much, makes you wonder.

Funny James Spann and EMA has no clue while this guy said a few days ago when and where the earthquakes would occur and has an explanation for the booms

It is seismic activity caused by the North American craton coming under pressure from the WEST COAST, pushing towards the East coast. It is like little earthquakes, but they are fractures in rock. Fracking is causing lots of problems in Texas. I’ve learned so much from Dutchsinse!!

Who can figure out these booms? Maybe it has nothing to do with weather? Maybe the military can figure it out or the guys in Huntsville?????

Reports showed no seismic activity according to the news reports.

If the news reports quoted the USGS, then I don’t trust it. I don’t trust the USGS anymore. They misreport some things on purpose and leave some things out.
