TUSCALOOSA – University of Alabama police are charging a 28-year-old developmentally challenged man for the for a shooting of an Alabama student on Sunday, according to WBRC 6.

The incident occurred at Another Broken Egg, on Jack Warner Parkway, and involved gunfire from a white vehicle into the parking lot.
The student’s injuries were to his arm and they do not seem to be serious. According to authorities he was merely a bystander when the event happened and was not a target.
