BIRMINGHAM — The Pinson Valley indoor track and field team placed six athletes within the top 10 at the 2020 Ice Breaker Invitational (6A-7A) on Saturday at the CrossPlex Athletic Facility in Birmingham.
Overall, the Pinson Valley boys’ team finished in 25th place out of the 29-team field. The girls’ team placed in 25th place, as well.
For the boys, Hunter Siddle finished in seventh place in the 400-meter dash. Jaavion Munford placed in fifth place in the 60-meter hurdles. The 4×200-meter relay team snagged fifth place, and the 4×800-meter relay team recorded a ninth-place finish. Mikaela Talton rounded out the top five performance for the boys with an eighth-place finish in the long jump.
The girls were led by Brianna Page’s eighth-place finish in the 400-meter run.
