Layne Rutledge is a junior at Hewitt-Trussville High School. Layne plays varsity volleyball, is a member of the National Honor Society, Peer Partners, and the Junior Board. She made the all “A” honor roll and was the top Spanish student in eighth grade. In her spare time, Layne enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, and reading.
Layne chose as her Teacher of the Month, Brookelyn Bolton, her Spanish teacher. “Mrs. Bolton is the most encouraging teacher I have ever had. She has opened up many opportunities for me to learn and experience Spanish culture along with learning the language,” said Layne.
The program is sponsored by Full Moon Bar-B-Q.
