SPRINGVILLE — The St. Clair County School system announced on Monday, Feb. 17, buses will no longer be able to travel in parts of the Legacy Springs Subdivision, due to deteriorating road conditions.
The buses are unable to travel up the large hill inside the subdivision and children will be picked up and dropped off at the bottom of the hill.
The school system sent an email to all parents.
“We have made the developers aware of the road conditions,” the email stated. “The St. Clair County System apologizes for this inconvenience; however, the safety of all bus riders are our main concern.”
The school system said normal bus operations will resume once the roads are repaired.
