The other featured panelists for the BBA Women’s Business Council meeting were Alice Gordon of Alabama Power Co. and Jeff Miller of MotionMobs. The event serves the council’s stated mission of providing educational and professional support to women in the entire seven-county Birmingham region.
“Working to be a motivating factor for women in business is a topic I feel extremely passionate about,” said Healy, recipient of honorable mention in the 2013 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards from Enterprising Women magazine. “It is important for those of us who serve as thought leaders around topics relating to entrepreneurship, business growth, and the opportunities open to women-owned business to share best practices and be a resource in the community.”
